As a kid I remember watching NFL football games with my grandpa in his truck shop. The television was a 19 inch RCA that had an old coat hanger for an antenna and pliers were used to change the channel. The knob had long since broken off, and on game day, I was the remote control. Not only that but the antenna signal was almost never consistent. I spent many an hour just holding it in place during crucial moments.

Back then, in the 70’s, we were lucky if we got to see three games in a week. If you wanted to see that week’s highlights, you had to wait until the Monday night halftime show. And up to the minute football news? Forget about it. The local paper gave you box scores on Monday, and the injury report on Friday. On Sunday morning you got an article on that days match up that was written the day before.

Oh how the times have changed.

Fast forward 40 years and you can watch NFL Football, just about anywhere, on your smartphone or tablet with a Football Streaming App in high definition. You don’t have to stay glued to your couch anymore. Gotta run to the store? No Problem. Want to go fishing? No Problem. Whether your daughter has a recital, or you are on a camping trip with the family, you no longer have to miss any of the action.

It gets even better.

Instead of having to wait for your local paper, or arguing with family over the TV, you can get instant news with a Football News App. You get up to the minute reports, anytime, and just about anywhere. Perfect for those who love their Fantasy Football and want that winning edge, without having to be tied to the TV 24/7.

You don’t even have to be a football fan, or pay a premium. It’s just never been so easy.

Thanks technology, better late than never, I suppose. I sure wish we had it this easy when I was a kid. Maybe then I would have been able to actually watch more of the action instead of holding the antenna.
